Below you will find the best motor ways to reach your holiday destination on the Wörthersee. Directly at the Werzer’s Hotel in Pörtschach guests will find sufficient free and open parking spaces at their disposal. The use of the hotel’s underground parking garage entails a parking fee of 7 Euro per night.
Arrival by car: arriving from Salzburg
A journey to Pörtschach by car is very easy. From Salzburg take the Austrian motorway A10 in the direction of Graz/Villach. At the Villach junction leave the A10 motorway and take the A2 motorway in the direction of Velden-Wörthersee/Klagenfurt. Once you have reached the Pörtschach junction, turn off and continue on the “Klagenfurter Straße” road number B83 in the direction of Pörtschach on the Wörthersee. After approx. 2 km, you will reach Pörtschach on the Wörthersee. Turn right and follow the signs until you reach your destination, the magnificent Werzer’s Hotel Resort Pörtschach.
Arrival by car: arriving from Klagenfurt
From Klagenfurt follow the motor way going south. Take the exit 323 in the direction of Pörtschach Ost (east). From there, follow the Klagenfurter Strasse (road) and once you reach the round-about follow the signs until you reach the Wezer's Hotel Resort Pörtschach.
Tips for your arrival: travelling to Pörtschach by car
When arriving in Austria by car, please be advised that you must buy a vignette in order to be allowed to travel on Austrian motorways. Vignettes are available at the border at so-called “Tabak” shops, at motorway service areas or at toll gates.
